“> On this tour, opposed to others where they would all either wear rainbow/or white robes with lots of color, they all sport army-like outfits with a heart gold-looking heart badge, and a red cross sign. It is all geered toward coming together. I was just so amazed by the idea of this band, it’s concept, it’s goal, it’s spirit. It’s like one huge gigantic family, inviting everyone in the world to find a home. A home filled with rainbow robes, and 40-something siblings. http://www.thepolyphonicspree.com/![]()

I kind of feel like I HAVE to write about this….
I was reading my monthly subscribtion from PASTE, the music/culture magazine. (By the way, everyone should order it, it’s brilliant!) While, my brother pointed out an article about this band I had never heard of called The Polyphonic Spree. TPS holds at least 24 members, but, I think now, it has around 48. (I KNOW!) And, it’s all geered toward being happy, peace. Now, the music is pretty good, I haven’t listened to enough to completely gauge, but, I would go see them live any day. It would just be this experience. The frontman, Tim DeLaughter, seemed at first to me kind of arrogant in one of the concert videos, but, as I must choose to believe, one of the comments on YouTube said that they had arrived early to his show and he had like come and greeted them, saying thanks for coming and just being completely nice. This band is geered toward peace, love, happiness, freedom, and their latest album, “The Fragile Army” comes out June 19th.
The Greatness of…THE POLYPHONIC SPREE!
