Check out this awesome video of journalist Mika Brzezinski of MSNBC. As a result of her refusal to make a report about Paris Hilton the lead story, Mika was labeled a “wench” and harrassed by her Beavis and Butthead-ish male colleagues because she continuously refused to lead the report with an update on Hilton and play into their immature on-camera antics. Did that meathead really say “unhand me you wench?” to her on air? This guy could have been right out of that movie Idiocracy. (I think this is going into my archive for so-called angry white men who claim that what I call White Male Privilege Affirmative Action doesn’t exist.) Seriously– Who gave this ridiculous caricature of a frat boy stereotype a job?

Thank goodness for Mika! I’m so over Paris, her racism, her drama, her terrible imitation of Gwen Stefani’s sound, and her tacky and scandalous digs. Moreover, I’m angry about the attention she has been taking away from important matters on the news including changes in the courts, the war in Iraq, and just about everything else that is more important in our lives. She should go play with her illegal and endangered Kinkajou and start spreading the gospel now that she’s found God.
