So this morning I woke up, kind of half awake, and within the span of about 2 hours was partially asleep and awake. I was starting to think about/freak out about the idea that I didn’t have any plans. I didn’t have any friends coming over, nada nothing. I think I was to afraid to just sit around and be alone or just do what I want to do. So I got breakfeast, kept thinking about it, watched about 30 minutes, (which is 30 minutes to much!!!) of really horrible MTV/Vh1 programs, and played my stand-up bass a bit.
BLOG INTERRUPTION!!!!!!#1—————I started stand-up bass! Ahh, a couple days ago I went and rented one and am now taking lessons….I obviously already play electric but this is reallllly a fun endeavor….I’m sooo excited!
Anyways, so I played stand-up a bit and played the Bright Eyes song that I did for my bass recital, Make War. I had chosen this song because I wanted to play a song that meant something, a song that was so important to me and so dear and inches away from my heart, no lets make that centimeters. Anyways, I ended up playing it simultaneously with the song on my record player and it was not only fun, but just gratifying. I think that maybe it’s okay to not have any plans, just be by yourself and do the things that you love and just hang out. It makes me a lot less scared of the fact that my summer may go by fast, and my worries of a new school and not having enough time to get ready for it, time to make sure I can be myself before I go.
Anyways, I’m really sorry if most of this blog has been a babble, I won’t be surprised if it’s hard to make out a lot of the things I said, so sorry! Anyways, today I just kind of love life in all of it’s I’ll sleep in today and do nothing, or I have no plans, or you can just be you kind of way.
Recent things I have fallen in love with:
music:
Sonic Youth—-album:Murray Street
note: While browsing for a SY album to buy, I bought this album solely on it’s cover, I think it’s brilliant. It’s a great car album if you want to make sure you don’t fall alseep.

note: Their new album, sounds amazing on any stereo!!! I’m planning to see them live in August! Yeah!!!!
Wilco—-album: A Ghost Is Born
note: first 2 songs are amazing, all of it is amazing
I know it’s probably against some music law to recommend a Beatles song, but I’m gonna do it anyways.
Beatles—-album: Love
note: Cirque De Soleil soundtrack, be sure to download
a)Blackbird/Yesterday
b)Here Comes the Sun/Inner Light Transistion
A Tribute To Joni Mitchell

I love your blog. My favorite kind of day is to not have plans and stay home and just do what I feel. I’d love to hear what you thought about your trip. Enjoy!
