So sometimes I see girls in the mall, or on the street, or wherever, and I can’t help but wonder why they are so DRAMATIC. Their lives just tend to be so complicated, even at 12 years old. Every little thing seems to bother them, no matter how small it may seem to those who are older, or just more mature. Also, sometimes I think girls pride themselves on being Drama Queens.

I think that a lot of movies portray that it’s good to have some drama in a girl’s life. For example, in Mean Girls Rachel McAdams’ character, Regina George, dons a t-shirt that reads “A Little Bit Dramatic.” Cute and all, but when your life revolves around creating more drama for others, including calling Planned Parenthood on a classmate, it’s just not cool. You’re only getting sucked into a drama-filled life.

Now here’s the funny thing. I tend to be a pretty laid-back and easygoing person, but drama tends to flock to me. Now I know a lot of girls say that’s why they always get themselves into situations such as what I’ve been through (and I’ll admit, sometimes it is my fault that I get into them) but most of the time it is purely by accident. I do feel bad for those girls.
