Great news! The book Math Doesn’t Suck by Danica McKellar, the former star of the show The Wonder Years, is out in stores now. Math Doesn’t Suck: How to Survive Middle School Math Without Losing Your Mind or Breaking a Nail encourages middle school girls to pursue math and science and embrace their intelligence, AND includes quotes from our own Maddie Lear! Head over to your local Barnes and Noble to see Maddie’s name in print… and brush up on your math.
Congratulations, Maddie!! We’re all really proud of you and we know this won’t be the first time someone is writing about you in a major book!

Congrats to Maddie! I wish this book was around when I was younger. Math has always been a struggle for me, and I didn’t have supportive teachers who worked with me to help me process the material in a way that I could learn best…

Go Maddie!! I hated Math as a child, because, like Jamia it was a struggle! Great job Maddie, I am so proud!
