Yesterday, I was talking about the fun i had “acting” in a commercial for the 2004 Democratic National Convention as a favor for my friend Nate who directed it. It was an extremely fun day and I loved the guys we worked with.
I had to pretend to run all day (those who are in the know are aware that I can’t run and live on allergy and asthma meds) but at least I looked like a runner that day. Anyway, after discussing it the other day I decided to see if it was now online. The last time I saw it was on TV years ago and some people at the convention said they saw it on the jumbotron at the convention.
Even though we lost, it was an amazing year and I had so many amazing things happen in my life including holding the banner at the March for Women’s Lives and canvassing during the Iowa Caucuses.
I miss that part of living in DC and hope to be plugged in as much as I can here in NYC so I can help the Democrats kick serious butt and gain the ground we deserve.
