So I was on CNN.com this evening after my brother’s football game, and I happened to come across this: http://www.cnn.com/2007/LIVING/homestyle/09/13/hidden.agenda/index.html
Apparently there’s panties out there that work exactly like a push-up bra. Who knew?! They’re apparently meant to be worn with jeans when your butt looks saggy. Or perhaps they can be donned with your homecoming dress to create the illusion of curves.
Don’t get me wrong, I could probably benefit from something like this due to my self-proclaimed “bass” (read: one doesn’t know where you back ends and ass begins). However, I tend to be proud of what God gave me and don’t really mind that I don’t have much back.
Oh and the underwear are made with foam pads that are made to actually have a shape similar to the butt. Now here’s what I’m thinking with these things: Say you show up at a restaurant or next outing with friends with a shapely butt. What happens when the panties are in the wash and you have to wear normal ones? Will people think your butt deflated?
I think this item is just another way for women who don’t like what they have to conceal or enhance what they don’t. I think it’s a shame that women aren’t happy with what they’ve got. I have hips and thighs but no boobs or butt. Am I mad? Sometimes I have my days, but I’m not going to buy padded panties because of it. These get a major no in my book.

That’s so idiotic.

I am purchasing a pair of these panties. I am getting the silicone ones though. The silicone pads can be removed. As far as washing, I am told that you wear your normal undies and wear the padded ones over top. This way you don’t have to wash them every single day. I do not have much of a butt and it is very, very, difficult to buy jeans and pants that fit right. I don’t really care if other people like my small butt. For me it is all about being able to buy more variety in clothing!

try the Bubble Buns boyshorts. They’re so much better than the ones pictured above _ I call those baboon underwear b/c they look so ridiculous. The padded boyshorts actually look normal! www.lovemybubbles.com
