GUESS WHAT I’M DOING THIS WEEKEND!!!!

I am starting this insane music workshop thing called the “Alternative String Group!!!” At school, in my strings class, (I play electric-bass and stand-up bass,) my teacher had her two friends come in to talk to all of the classes about music, their instruments, and the mini-school they run in LA for classical instruments, but with at twist.
Their main instruments (that they play) are viola and cello, so to introduce themselves, they played “Kiss” by PRINCE!!!!! Which, if you are blanking, is the main penguin song in Happy Feet, where what’s his name (little tappy dude) his parents are singing to eachother, “You don’t have to be rich, to rule my world…..” anyways, they played that on the VIOLA AND CELLO! It was soooo unbelievably awesome!!! Anyways, I’m so excited to be starting something new where I can progress in skill but more importantly my passsssssion for music! YEahhh!! The center mainly focuses on improvisation, which is hard but so much fun if you let it be, and it’s very laid-back with small classes. I’m SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!! Wish me luck!!!
