Hey everyone!
I am finally back with internet and ready to begin posting. I moved back to D.C., where I went to college, two weeks ago. I have enjoyed every last second and my first post is something that I’ve noticed that past few weeks while living here. People on public transportation just aren’t what they used to be. They have no manners!
Every morning and evening on the bus or metro, I watch men and young people sit and stare off into space or purposely ignore the old or pregnant women or elderly men that enter the bus. Why is this? Who knows. I wish that they would be more like the gentlemen or children of yesteryear, ones that had manners and weren’t so quick to crank up their iPods at the sake of a comfortable commute to work or school.
So I propose to those who take public transportation to school or work. Next time you sit down, take a look around before you commit to parking in a seat the entire ride. Trust me, the world will be that much more of a better place if you do so.
More soon!

I know I can’t stand it when people don’t have common courtesy to help others out and give up their seat. I see it a lot in NYC and its really disturbing.
