Tomorrow is my last day of classes… time to celebrate the end of another semester and the official holiday season? Not so fast! I have an unbelievable amount of work to do in an equally as unbelievable amount of time. I can’t even fathom it!
I put a long list of “Things 2 Do” on my wall to visualize the work and physically be able to check it off once I complete it. Sorting things out like this really helps me stay focused and have a sense of progress as I sift through my papers, projects and intense study sessions. Then I blast my holiday music. It keeps me feeling happy and a good mood is essential during my work slave sessions :). I’ve also taken up the habit of 24-hour gum chewing. It helps with mindless snacking as I sit in front of my computer or at my desk. I could easily eat my entire large bag of popcorn that I have in here as brain food. With these long days simple meals don’t always cut it. And one last thing. I make sure to get to bed by midnight and include a stretch before I lay my head to rest. I find that it relaxes me physically and mentally after a jam-packed day. What do you do when you’re stressed? Click on the pic for tips!
