Young People For Summit

By Liz Funk on January 20th, 2008 ·

I’ve been running around like crazy for the past few days at the national summit for Young People For, the college branch of People for the American Way Foundation that identifies and trains up and coming young progressive leaders. I’ve been having such an amazing time and I feel really inspired by all the people I’m meeting.

(YP4 is the organization that Girl HeadQuarters grew out of).

There has been so much great stuff going on at this summit in D.C., like conversations and presentations about reinvigorating the movement, a hilarious performance from Laughing Liberally, and lots of Starbucks runs. Since I have to go get ready to speak on a panel about beyond-the-campus organizing, check out the Young People For blog that has been liveblogging the summit!
