So yesterday was April Fool’s Day and I pulled quite the hilarious joke on my two best male friends. I told each of them that I made out with the other guy and let’s just say that they totally fell for it. Well, one did. One of my female friends actually pranked me and told my second male friend his half of the joke but she also played a joke on me. She told me that the male friend was breaking up with his girlfriend because he had thought about what I said and realized that he was in love with me. I didn’t think I’d be upset with that, but this male friend and I have dated before so I was surprised at the fact it made me more sad than I realized. Anyway, I’m over that but it brought me to an interesting fact:

How far is too far? Have you been the victim of any joke that has really upset you? I just think it’s so hard because if you don’t like a joke and get upset, you’re viewed as too sensitive and if you retaliate, you’re seen as continuing an unnecessary war in order to get “the last word.” I think that pranks are very hard to pull off without hurting someone or somebody else spilling the beans.
