Kate Oczypok
Kate Oczypok, 23, works as a journalist full-time in the D.C. area. She graduated in May 2007 from American University and received a B.A. in print journalism. She spent three years working for her school newspaper, The American University Eagle. Kate also has interned at Hardball with Chris Matthews and has also served as a Seventeen Magazine Reader Contributor and junior and senior class president of her all-girls Catholic high school. She loves exploring the D.C. area with her crazy group of friends from college or talking on the phone to her huge family or best friend from home, Dezeree. A hopeless romantic, she's a sucker for a good love story, whether it be in her favorite genre of literature, chick-lit, or movies.
