At GHQ, we are always looking to expand our clique of people working to make us bigger and better. We’d love to have you join our team!
Want to blog? Send us a letter (liz@girlheadquarters.org), with information about you, your background, your interests, links to your current blog or Myspace, and why you want to blog for us.
Want to guest blog? We’d love to post entries from our readers. Send us an entry (a book review, a rant, a discussion on a topic, or your take on a recently published article in a newspaper or magazine, for example), and if we like it, we’ll publish it! E-mail your entry, your name, age, picture, and contact information to be considered.
Want to be a promoter? We are looking for young women in middle school, high school, and college who would be willing to pass out flyers, distribute information about our blog, and help us with online networking. E-mail us (liz@girlheadquarters.com) for more information.
Comments Policy
We’d love to hear what you think! We think that discussion and conversation is really, really important for empowering girls, and we encourage you to leave comments with your thoughts, ideas, and occasional constructive criticisms.
However, we do ask that you remember when commenting, despite that this is online, you are interacting with real people with feelings and sensitivities. Hence, we won’t approve any comments that hateful, mean, or critical without a constructive aspect. After all, mean girls are so 2004.
Also, remember safety. The internet can be pretty sketchy and has no concept of privacy, so don’t leave any comments or link to any blogs, Flickr accounts or Myspace pages that tell too much information about you.
